The only Tips I can give you, are: 1).- You can find the ICEFaces IDE (JDeveloper, Eclipse, etc) integration in the download secction of the ICEFaces web page (or even downloading it from your IDE like MyEclipse do) 2).- Once installed the ICEFace implementation of JSF, you need to remmeber that ICEFaces is JSF implementation with a beautiful and powerfull AJAX enabled extension. The example is for the integration of JSF/ICEFaces, JPA, EJ3 and using a Oracle 10g DB (with JDeveloper IDE). Hi chchakrapani, I have developed some jfs app too, but only had one jsf/ICEFaces implementation right now. Hi hayrolr i have developed jsf project, now i want to integerate some features of iceface, what are the changes to be done in web.xml and i am using tomcat6.0 and what are the jar files to added, send the example in detail with entire configuration ,i am waiting for ur reply or u can send to my gmail 12/Oct/2007 00:00:00 part of my web.xml: Persistent Faces Servlet /faces/* Persistent Faces Servlet *.jsp Thanks to all. configure my web.xml to resolve /faces/* and *.jsp with the Persistent Faces Servlet. Conclusion: I use icefaces.jar not just-ice.jar (just-ice.jar is supposed to use when trying to have separated the jsf pages from icefaces pages). web.xml: Is the same created when I have applied the "ICEfaces Integration." to my project in JDeveloper (ICEfaces integration). 32 moreCaused by: at .encodeBegin(UIComponentBase.java:703) at .encodeBegin(UIComponentTag.java:613) at .doStartTag(UIComponentTag.java:500) at .(Parser.java:162). at .(Parser.java:140) at .D2DViewHandler.renderResponse(D2DViewHandler.java:519). I'm trying to create a simple page (that use a backing been) for display a datatable, even without using any icefaces tags, and I'm getting the following exception (of course I'm have my web.xml as same as I use in my fully ICEfaces app, which one is running ok): booklist.jspx (I need to use jspx 'cus jsp is not recognizing the : Exception (on error 500): : Can't parse stream for /listarLibros.jspx Failed to execute JSP lifecycle. ![]() ![]() jspx) I need to use and what muts to be the mapping in the web.xml for these extension?. what I need to change in the web.xml when using just-ice.jar?. But my question is, how i can integrate icefaces with JSF JSP pages ?. ![]() I can do a fully ICEfaces app without problems. I have readed several tips saying that I need to use just-ice.jar instead icefaces.jar in order to work in this environment. Hello, I'm trying to use ICEfaces into my existing JSF application.
